Following up on the 2025 FIA General Assemblies held in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) on 12 December 2025, we hereby provide you with a summary of the decisions adopted on that occasion.
FIA France General Assembly
Adoption of the draft agenda
The draft agenda of the 2025 FIA France General Assembly was approved.
Approval of the draft minutes of the 2025 Extraordinary General Assembly
The draft minutes of the 2025 Extraordinary General Assembly were approved.
2026 budget
The 2026 FIA subscription scale and the 2026 budget (FIA France and combined) were approved.
Proposed amendments to the Judicial and Disciplinary Rules and the International Sporting Code
The proposed amendments to the International Sporting Code and the Judicial and Disciplinary Rules (JDR), as presented in the Business Papers, were approved. Please note that there is a typographical error in the numbering of certain articles in the proposals, which will be corrected when the JDR is published.
Appointment / elections to FIA Bodies
The General Assembly confirmed the election, by the Senate, of the President and two members of the Audit Committee. The General Assembly also elected 18 judges to the FIA Courts and two members of the Anti-doping Disciplinary Committee.

FIA Members
The General Assembly approved the change of competence of the following FIA Members which are now recognised for Automobile Mobility and Tourism in addition to Sport:
- Mongolian Automobile Motorcycle Sports Federation (MAMSF), Mongolia
- Auto Motor Sport and Road Safety Federation (FASM), Kyrgyzstan
- National Autosport & Karting Federation of Uzbekistan (NAFKU), Uzbekistan
Honorary Membership
The General Assembly awarded honorary membership, as Membre d’honneur, to Mr Henry Krausz and SD FÜRST Ludwig zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Freudenberg.
Elections
The Presidential List led by Mohammed Ben Sulyaem was elected by the General Assembly. The General Assembly elected the members of the World Council for Automobile Mobility and Tourism and of the World Motor Sport Council.

2026 General Assemblies
The General Assembly approved the dates and locations of its next meetings as follows:
- the 2026 General Assembly will take place in Shanghai on Saturday 12 December.
- the 2027 General Assembly will be held in Doha.

The draft agenda of the 2025 FIA Switzerland General Assembly was approved.

The draft minutes of the 2025 Extraordinary General Assembly were approved.
2026 budget
The 2026 budget (FIA Switzerland) was approved.
Election of the President of the FIA Switzerland
Mohammed Ben Sulayem was elected as the President of FIA Switzerland.
